Aster Secures Funding To Change The Tech Stack In Women’s Healthcare

Aster, an all-in-one women’s health patient management platform, has announced a pre-seed funding round of $2.4 million. Led by prominent venture capital firms Cake Ventures and Cornerstone VC, alongside a consortium of esteemed investors including Zeal Capital Partners, Octopus Ventures, and others, Aster is hoping to reshape the landscape of maternal health.

Aster’s aims to empower women’s health practices by streamlining operations, fostering growth, and enhancing scalability. With a mission to elevate clinical outcomes and enable practices to maintain competitiveness and independence in the dynamic healthcare sector, Aster’s initial focus is on revolutionizing maternal health providers across the United States.

Aster’s product features include:

  • Appointment scheduling
  • Customized charting
  • Hands-free, AI powered transcription
  • Tele-health video appointments
  • Clinical data and administrative management dashboard

Aster will also feature a Clinician copilot that aims to help providers make decisions faster with data from patients, collected directly at home and in-clinic.

At the helm of Aster is CEO Fifi Kara. Fifi has experience in consumer and B2B product development. With a decade-long tenure spanning the UK, Europe, and the US, Kara has spearheaded transformative initiatives at companies like Meta and Bulb. Most recently, Fifi supported Meta’s Health & Fitness team, an organization that built software for hardware devices with a focus on improving consumer health through mediums such as AR/VR.

Aster is currently rolling out their Beta platform to providers and practices across the U.S.
